UEENEEP026A Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord connected equipment and cord assemblies

Introduction

Our Nationally Recognised Test and Tag Training courses are held in our Brendale education centre (Northern Brisbane).
We provide a mixture of  E-Learning (Online) theory with one day of practical classroom and hands-on training to the Australian Standards AS/NZS 3760 and AS/NZS 3012. This course is an introduction to electrical safety theories that are the base units for all restricted electrical training. Bizmatrix test and tag courses cover the latest technology using a wide range of Portable Appliance Testers and a wide range of portable electrical test appliances. We ensure that our classes are limited to small classes maximum ten (10) students per class so that all of our students are given sufficient one on one contact with the instructor. Successful completion of this course deems you a “Competent Person” qualified to carry out Testing and Tagging to the Australian Standards AS/NZS 3760  for safety and compliance.

Who is this course designed for?

Those looking to learn how to test and tag appliances, electrical cord assemblies, tools and RCD devices around their home and for industry and your workplace.

All attendees must have basic level 3 numeracy and literacy skills. The conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord assemblies and cord connected equipment course is open those who would like to check; test and tag electrical cord assemblies or cord connected appliance

IMPORTANT: Please note that as per Queensland Legislation, if you wish to provide professional appliance testing services to other organisations, you require an Electrical contractors license or Restricted  Electrical Contractors license.

Through obtaining a test and tag competency, this only allows an individual to test appliances in-house electrical portable appliances and cords or portable appliances/ cords owned by their employer.
